Our Naval Science Instructor
IS1 (SW/EIDWS/MTS) Terry Andre Hayes, USN(Ret.)
Mr. Terry Andre Hayes, IS1, (SW,EIDWS/MTS) United States Navy Retired is a thirty (30) year naval veteran that has also served in the United States Army before he served in the Navy. Mr. Hayes is also an alumni member of Evan E. Worthing High School. Mr. Hayes served four years in the U.S. Army at TADS Detachment 44th Signal BGN. as a Fixed Station Technical Controller and Cryptologist in Darmstadt, Germany. He finished is military career as an Intelligence Specialist and Analyst working for commands like Middle Pacific Command (MIDPAC), National Security Agency (NSA), Navy Intelligence Command (NIC1), Atlantic Intelligence Command (AIC), the Pentagon, the State Department, and various shore and sea commands.
Mr. Hayes was a Master Training Specialist (MTS) at the Navy and Marine Corps Intelligence Training Command (NMITC), where he helped build the schools photo and satellite imagery analysis course and program, the third world training course, and counter-intelligence course. The course of his career Mr. Hayes has briefed united states dignitaries, congressmen, senators, and presidents. He is a member of the Naval Intelligence Community and the National Intelligence University.

Mr. Hayes became the Naval Science Instructor at Evan E. Worthing High School after he had learned that the school had lost their former instructor and he stepped in to become the schools NJROTC instructor and make sure that the program would survive and grow. Mr. Hayes is married to Mrs. Leslie M. Brewer-Hayes, the Pharmacy Senior Buyer for Houston Methodist Hospital Clear Lake. They have four children Erica Hayes, Tamara Hayes, Brianna Hayes, and Isaiah Hayes. Erica and Brianna are currently on active duty in the United States Navy.
