ABOUT THE NNDCC PROGRAM
Evan E. Worthing Early College High School's Navy National Defense Cadet Corps (NNDCC) is a unique educational program that offers students a well-rounded and comprehensive experience to prepare them for their future endeavors. NNDCC is not just about promoting military service; it's about empowering our cadets to achieve their academic and career goals while instilling values of discipline, leadership, and personal growth.

One of the primary objectives of NNDCC is to help our cadets improve their standardized test scores, including the SAT, ACT, and ASVAB. We understand that these scores are crucial for college admissions and military career opportunities. We pride ourselves on offering rigorous training and resources to enhance our cadets' performance on these exams. Our dedicated instructors and support staff work tirelessly to ensure that our cadets are well-prepared to excel in these tests, opening doors to a wide range of educational and career opportunities.

While we don't specifically promote any branch of the U.S. military, we do support our cadets who choose to pursue a military path. Our commitment to preparing them for success extends to helping them secure the job field of their choice within the military. We provide comprehensive ASVAB preparation to ensure that they qualify for the military occupational specialties that align with their interests and aspirations.

However, the NNDCC program is not solely focused on the military track. We understand that each cadet has unique goals and ambitions. To cater to those who may not want to attend college or join the military, we have established a valuable partnership with the United States Military Sealift Command (MSC). This collaboration offers an alternative career path for our cadets as independent contractors with MSC, where they can find meaningful and well-paying careers in various maritime fields.

Alongside academic and career preparation, our program places a strong emphasis on character building, leadership skills, physical fitness, and community service. We believe that these attributes are essential for success in any field, whether it be in higher education, the military, or the workforce.
