Daily Objective/Learning (DOL) Breakdown:

Monday-Wednesday:
· Opening Routine (10 minutes)
· Executive Officer conducts attendance
· Adjutant Officer reads Modified Plan of the Day
· NS1-NS4 recite NJROTC Cadet Creed (M.R.S.: Choral Response)
· Drill Practice (35 minutes)
· Executive Officer leads class outside
· NS1-NS4 demonstrate facing movements (M.R.S.: Demonstration)
· NS1-NS4 lead squads in basic drill movements (M.R.S.: Peer Teaching)
· Officers break into groups to lead company drill practice
· Drill Movement Focus (10 minutes per movement)

· Evaluation and Feedback (10 minutes)
· Commanding Officer evaluates and corrects junior cadets' performance

Physical Fitness Test Training (75 minutes)
· Warm-up Exercises (10 minutes)
· Push Ups (2 minutes) (M.R.S.: Paired Practice)
· Curl Ups (2 minutes) (M.R.S.: Paired Practice)
· Planks (1 minute) (M.R.S.: Individual Practice)
· 1-mile run/walk (10 minutes) (M.R.S.: Group Activity)
· Cool down period (5 minutes)
Test Review (15 minutes)
XO and AO lead review of Chapter 1: Cadet Drill Manual (M.R.S.: Think-Pair-Share)

Friday (Test Day):
1. Opening Routine (10 minutes)

2. Chapter 1 Test (45 minutes)
o NS1-NS4 complete test on Cadet Drill Manual pages DM3-DM37 (M.R.S.: Individual Assessment)
3. Staff Meeting (45 minutes)
o Commanding Officer meets with staff to evaluate unit performance
